| | On with the social life, I really haven't been doing much overall. I just talk with Adrian majority of the time, or I call up Frank or talk to him on AIM. I wish I could devote more time to my friends, but then, I look around my room and notice I should devote my time to many a-things. My room is such a wreck. I need to clean that and do some chores around the house. Yet, what am I doing? Listening to Rise Against, watching anime (Shakugan no Shana S and Ghost Hound), and completing homework online. I read a bit of The Lost Symbol, too.
Hmm, well, the biggest event this weekend was probably Germaine and Sammich's Fall Party! It was a blast! I stayed the night at Adrian's the night before that way he was guaranteed to be up for it. xD
We had a pretty large group! <3
My gosh, Germaine and Sammich put so much time, effort, and money in this party. The party was held from 4PM - 8PM, but a few of us stayed around till 12AM (myself included). I mean, they bought boxes of Ghiradelli chocolate, bowls of Starburst and Skittles, glow sticks, 100 pieces of chicken, fries, and boss sauce from Raising Cane's, a pinata, decorations, etc. It was easily over $150. Probably more! Shoot, the Raising Cane's deal itself was over $100. They really love their friends.
It was a lot of fun! :D
I subbed in for Adrian to play basketball against Tall Kyle (he's about 6'6 while I'm around 5'7 1/2) and this one other kid. That was pretty fun. I had to stop one time to tie my shoe. Kyle just sat down on the ground. Adrian took a picture of that. I was just so damn devoted to the idea of scoring at least once against Kyle, and I did after many feeble and pathetic attempts.
After that, it was football as the boys versus the girls. Kyle, the meanie, tackled this poor girl. He swears she ran into him, but I have evidence by my camera! It's supposed to be two hand touch! We hung around after that, ate, hula-hooped, played around on the jungle-gym... Let's talk about that! So, it all started with one picture of Adrian. He went down the slide, and I surprised him by taking his picture. Then, everyone started lining up to have their picture taken down the slide! It was so funny. xP
Good times! Oh, and the pinata was great. It got knocked down from the tree it was tied in earlier by Trevor and one of Germaine and Sammich's friend. Then, Adrian decided to Falcon Punch it up the butt. The poor thing was fisted to Adrian's elbow. That kid was in there deep! Then, Kyle decided to go for the kill and karate-chopped it. The look on Trevor's face, as he was the one holding the pinata for Kyle to chop, was priceless! And yes, I have pictures!
It was loads of fun. The group who hung back - Germaine, Adrian, Kyle, Nando, Trevor, and I - began to take more pictures and just having fun with it! I want to print them out. :D
Boy - was this fun! :D
I should put a scrapbook together for those two girls to repay them. :)

Though, the only bummer of the night was Jon. Notice who is not in the pictures? He didn't even show up for the party. Oh, sure, he had the excuse that he was going to his bowling tournament, but that didn't start till 5PM. Angel and Tony, Germaine's coworkers, showed up for a little bit, and they had work to go to. Jon was done with his event around 8 or 9PM, and we were still hanging around the park. Instead of stopping by, he decided to "go to bed", yet he still continued to text Germaine until 2AM. How annoying.
It's like she devoted so much to this event (along with Sammich) and he didn't even have the decency to stop by! What a jerk. I don't know why she doesn't just dump him. I mean, sure, whatever, make the excuse that he makes you happy, but honestly, in the long run, how are you going to feel? Sure, you love him, but it takes more than that. He's not good for her. He really needs to work on himself before he considers dating. He has pushed everyone away; he's like a stranger to us now.
This girl needs to learn to be more assertive and strong-willed. I know she was irritated with him that day (or at least, she was irritated at something or another). For example, she kept making little comments here and there. I wanted to comfort her, but at the same time, I felt like she was angry at me! Misdirected perhaps? I don't remember saying or doing anything offensive, but maybe I did. I don't really want to talk to her about it, and I doubt she'll stumble upon this entry. I felt really hurt about it that night.
After the park, we went back to her house for a couple hours. We were there from about 12AM/1AM to 3AM (and I had work in the morning at 9AM) just joking around, and I was falling asleep on Adrian's lap. Germaine was really cold. I mentioned I was cold too, that we could share a blanket. Instead, she just gave me the blanket and said a little snappishly that I could have it. She just dropped it on me and laid back down with her phone. She was texting Jon at the time. Maybe something was said then? I was just kinda upset about it and stayed quiet. I wanted to cry in all actuality. I fell asleep and woke up to Germaine telling me to get the fuck out of her house. And yes, in those words. :(
You know, I don't think I'll ever have a best friend who's a girl. It just won't happen. Germaine has Sammich. Etianne is in another state. Markita has Cora. And... I just don't have anyone. :( At least, not a girl. I have Frank and Adrian, but I just want a girl who can relate with me, someone I can go shopping with, someone I can talk to, someone who can understand me, someone who listens... you know. I just always feel empty about this topic.
Anyway, that night was really fun. Even after leaving Germaine's house with the guys joking about cereal for some reason unknown to me and going to sleep at 3AM only to wake up in 5 hours. *sigh* I did enjoy it; I just wish it could've ended better...
